HONG KONG, Friday.

Canton was severely bombed this afternoon. Twelve 'planes flew over Shameen after bombing down the river.

Apparently the 'planes aimed at the Canton-Kowloon railway terminus, where at least 1,000 persons had been) sheltering since noon, awaiting an express from Hong Kong. The station was not struck, but a factory nearby) was hit twice, and a deathroll of 50 is; reported.
